Modern people perceive arts differently than the previous generation did since we have seen wide applications of digital technology in each field. In terms of traditional cultural spirit, however, art literacy and historical trace are important cultural assets. This issue, thus, based on “heritage and innovation of arts” to collect Master Xia’s works (Buddhist paintings, calligraphy art, seal carving, and art aesthetics) and construct contents for future promotion, granting and development of relevant programs and concrete actions.
The theme of this issue is “Heritage and Innovation of Jingshan ’s Buddha Art;” after the paper screening procedure, the Editing Committee decided to accept four papers below "A Study on Xia Jing Shan's Buddhist Painting", "A Brief Discussion on "Arhats Painting" of Xia Jing Shan's Buddhist Painting", "A New Convergent Point: Cultural x Creativity ——A case study of Xia Jing Shan's painting art", " Discovery of Innovation and Insights of Xia Jing Shan's Buddhist Painting Theme in the Field of Visual Art".
